The curtain has officially fallen on Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s nearly two-decade love story.
Just a day after their split made headlines, Kidman has filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
The New York Post reports the papers were filed in Nashville on September 30, marking the official date of separation.
According to the documents, the Oscar-winning actress is asking to be the primary residential parent of their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
The couple has reportedly agreed the girls will spend most of the year, 306 days, with Kidman, and 59 days with Urban.
They’ve also reportedly agreed to make major parenting decisions, including health and education, together.
The Aussie golden couple met at a Los Angeles event honouring Australians in 2005 before tying the knot in Sydney the following the year.
