Police are investigating a horror crash in Tallai that’s left two men in hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Emergency crews were called to Tallai Road around 10.20pm on Wednesday following reports a vehicle had lost control and crashed into a powerpole.
“Initial investigations indicate a silver Ford Falcon was travelling along Tallai Road when for unknown reasons it has hit a fence and crashed into a powerpole,” A Queensland Police spokesperson said.
The driver, a 20-year-old Mudgeeraba man and his passenger, a 20-year-old Robina man, were treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in potentially life- threatening conditions.
Investigations into the crash are underway.
Police are appealing for witnesses, especially those with dashcam footage capturing the moments leading up to and including the crash to come forward.
