Three juveniles have been arrested after allegedly threatening students at a Gold Coast school, reportedly forcing it into lockdown.
Police were called to Marymount College on Reedy Creek Rd at Burleigh Waters around 3pm on Thursday afternoon following reports of a group of youths causing a disturbance.
Initial reports suggested the group may have been armed, but Police are yet to confirm this.
Students at the school have told myGC that teachers instructed them to get under the desks in their classrooms.
Officers arrived a short time later, taking three juveniles into custody.
Police have confirmed the group has been returned to the care of their families and further investigations will be conducted today
There were no reports of any serious injuries during the incident.
