Manhunt after driver cleans up parked cars in Robina

Police are searching for a driver following a hit-and-run crash that left a trail of destruction on the Gold Coast.

Officers were called to University Drive at Robina just after midnight after a white Hyundai Santa Fe collided with at least three parked vehicles.

By the time police arrived on scene, the person behind the wheel of the vehicle had already left.

“Inquiries indicate they know who the driver is,” Queensland Police said.

Investigations are ongoing.
