Police have finally laid charges almost three months after a man was hit by a car in Logan.

Emergency crews were called to a home on Gloxinia Street in Kingston around 1.30pm on April 20, following reports a man had been struck by a car.

“It will be alleged a 40-year-old Waterford West man attended the address in a white Nissan Navara ute and struck a 40-year-old Regents Park man,” Queensland Police said.

The Waterford West man has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle causing grievous bodily harm, unlawful use of a vehicle, possession of dangerous drugs and common assault.

He has been refused bail to Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday, July 23.
