Seven people have been injured in a nasty two-car crash on the northern Gold Coast.
Emergency crews were called to Tamborine Oxenford Road at Oxenford just after 8pm on Wednesday after a Mitsubishi Lancer and Toyota Landcruiser collided.
Upon arrival, they found multiple people suffering various injuries.
A female in her late teens was treated for significant chest and abdominal injuries before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
A male and female, both in their 20s, were also hospitalised with chest and abdominal injuries.
While three males and one female, all in their late teens, managed to escape with minor injuries and were transported in a stable condition.
Police have confirmed they are investigating.
