A crime scene has been declared at what’s left of a home in the Gold Coast hinterland after it was destroyed in a suspicious fire.
The blaze erupted at a property along Halls Road in Luscombe around 8.30pm on Thursday.
More than 20 fire crews were called to battle the flames, which completely gutted the property as well as multiple cars, caravans and shipping containers.
Multiple crews remain on scene this morning dampening down hotspots.
Fortunately all occupants of the home managed to get out safely so no one was injured.
Police have confirmed they are treating the blaze as suspicious, with fire investigators expected to head to the scene today.
Investigations are ongoing.
