Three people, including two teens, have been charged after an armed robbery at a home in Robina.

Police alleged the trio attended a property on Parkmore Close around 10.10pm on Monday night.

One of the group, who Police believe was known to one of the residents, was allegedly armed with a machete and demanded money.

The 17-year-old occupant of the home complied.

He suffered minor injuries during the incident.

Police attended a short time later, arresting a 15-year-old boy outside the home.

A 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were located in a nearby vehicle and taken into custody.

The 15-year-old Robina boy has since been charged with one count each of armed robbery, common assault and enter dwelling.

He is due to appear at the Southport Childrens Court today.

A 16-year-old Bonogin boy has been charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of armed robbery, common assault, and possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with commission of drug offence.

He has been ordered to front Southport Childrens Court on August 4.

A 20-year-old Mudgeeraba man has been charged with one count each of armed robbery, common assault and enter dwelling.

He will front Southport Magistrates Court on August 11.
