Chaz Mostert is the 2025 Supercars Champion after a dramatic finish at the Adelaide Grand Final.

The two-time Bathurst winner entered the finale 23 points behind fellow Gold Coaster Broc Feeney, but a chaotic race flipped the script and delivered Mostert his long-awaited maiden crown.

Feeney, dominant all season with 14 wins and 19 poles, looked set to control the race from the front, but his title hopes imploded when Ryan Wood clipped the rear of his Chevrolet Camaro at Turn 6, spinning Feeney to the back of the pack.

From there, engine troubles dropped Feeney to a heartbreaking 20th-place finish.

Meanwhile, Mostert managed to keep his cool, crossing the finish line second behind race winner Matt Payne.

For the 33-year-old Gold Coaster, becoming the 28th Supercars champion was a moment he once feared might never come.

“You always think it’s never going to happen, especially when you hit your 30s,” Mostert said.

“You dream of this when you’re six or seven in go-karts.”

Will Brown finished runner-up in the standings, with Feeney in third and rookie Kai Allen securing fourth.
