But to win, you’ll need to take on another listener in a game of ‘Word Rally’
So how does it work?
Step 1: Keep it locked on 1029 Hot Tomato every afternoon from 3pm for the drive home with Moyra & Big Trev
Step 2: Listen out for our cue to call, then dial 5571 1029 for your chance to play!
Step 3: Two listeners will be selected, and will be given a category (eg Girls names beginning with the letter A), then it’s time to take it in turns to say a word relating to that category (eg ‘Amanda’)
Step 4: Fail and you’re OUT of the Rally, succeed and land a place on our standby list!
Then, on Friday 13th March Moyra and Big Trev will be calling back 1 lucky finalist who will win a trip for two to the Otago Rally in Dunedin, New Zealand!
Prize information: The Major prize includes, flights for 2 from Gold Coast Airport to Dunedin, departing Thursday 9th April and returning Monday 13th April 2026 where they will join the all-inclusive Rallysport Mag Rally Tour including twin share accommodation, meals, bus tour and best viewing, plus $500 spending money.

New Zealand’s Otago Rally is the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest shingle rally event in the Southern Hemisphere in 2026. State of the art modern rallycars will be competing in the New Zealand and Asia-Pacific Championships.
The world famous Classic class will be spectacular with global star drivers such as Ireland’s Kris Meeke and Norway’s Mads Ostberg. Australia’s Toby Price will compete in a new GR Yaris, and there will be up to 30 international teams joining 100 NZ teams.
