Another Aussie name has been added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with Chris Hemsworth receiving star on the iconic boulevard.

Speaking at the ceremony, the superstar labelled it a dream come true.

“I feel like I’m about to wake up in some way and realise it’s not real, that it’s all something I’ve imagined,” Hemsworth said.

“But to be here today I feel a wonderful sense of gratitude.”

He was supported by his family at the ceremony and some of Hollywood’s other biggest stars, including Robert Downey Jr and legendary director George Miller

The honour comes as his new film ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ opens in cinemas across the nation.

The Producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Ana Martinez, says it’s a well-deserved honour.
