Created alongside his husband, filmmaker David Furnish, Elton John Zero is a 0% Blanc de Blancs made from Chardonnay grapes grown in northern Italy. The flavour profile is crisp and refreshing, with notes of apple, citrus and soft florals. The aim is simple: deliver the experience of Champagne, without alcohol.
A Personal Reason Behind the Pour
Elton, who has been sober since 1990, says the idea came from hosting parties where non-drinkers were left with limited options. Water just didn’t feel festive enough. So, the couple decided to create a drink that allows everyone to toast life’s big moments together.
Clever Craft, Light Feel
Rather than removing alcohol after fermentation, the wine is made using a specialised process that prevents alcohol from forming in the first place. The result is a refined, low-calorie sparkling wine that still feels indulgent.
