He’s the son of Australian sporting royalty and now Jackson Warne is starting a new chapter inspired by his famous father.
The 26-year-old has stepped behind the microphone, launching his new podcast, Warne’s Way, speaking to some massive names while also sharing stories of the late great Shane Warne.
“Everybody who I’ve met the last three or four years, everybody has a Shane Warne story,” Jackson told Today.
The podcast idea first came to him in 2018 during a conversation with his dad about working together on a project featuring Shane’s celebrity friends.
And even though his father couldn’t be here today to help bring the podcast to fruition, Jackson said the stories he has heard from his guests makes him feel closer to Shane, even after his death.
“It’s almost in a way like I’m talking to dad, because the things they’re saying would be what dad would be saying as well,” he said.
“It’s making me remember exactly who dad was and it’s just really comforting.”
Shane Warne passed away three years ago during a health trip to Koh Samui, Thailand.
