Netflix has finally shown us the full trailer for its live-action adaptation of the renowned Nickelodeon animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” set to premiere on February 22nd.

Derived from the beloved 2005-2008 show, this marks the second attempt to bring the cherished series to life in live-action, the first being the M. Night Shyamalan film in 2010.

Set in a fantastical world divided into four nations, each revolving around one of the four elements. A century after the Fire Nation’s assault and declaration of war on the world, a young Airbender named Aang, who is also the Avatar with the ability to master all four elements, is discovered.

The cast features Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, Dallas Liu as Zuko, Daniel Dae Kim as Lord Ozai, Paul Sun-Hyung as Uncle Iroh, Elizabeth Yu as Princess Azula, and Ken Leung as Commander Zhao as well as a giant supporting cast in many memorable roles straight out of the animated series.
