Australia’s pop princess Delta Goodrem officially tied the knot with her longtime partner and guitarist, Matthew Copley last month, and now the stunning first photos of their magical wedding day have been released.
The couple exchanged vows on June 16 in Malta, saying “I do” in a breathtaking 12th-century cathedral. According to New Idea, the intimate ceremony was nothing short of a modern fairytale.
Goodrem wore not one, not two, but three show-stopping gowns throughout the day, each crafted by two of her favourite Australian designers.
For the ceremony, she chose a gown by Paul Vasileff of Paolo Sebastian, a designer she’s worked closely with for nearly a decade. Later, she changed into two custom reception dresses by Con Ilio.
Sharing the special moment with fans on Instagram, Goodrem posted a series of wedding snaps alongside a heartfelt caption: “June 2025, Husband and Wife. It was more magical than we both could have dreamed,” she wrote.
“We said ‘I do’ under the Maltese skies in a family fairytale wedding brought to life by so many angels surrounding us. We are holding on to every memory from that moment – the love, the laughter, the happy tears, and dancing till the sun came up.”
She added: “We can’t wait to come back to Australia and celebrate as Mr & Mrs.”
The pair became engaged in September 2023 after six years together.
“He’s my guitarist – I met him through music,” Goodrem told The Australian Women’s Weekly in 2023. “It’s incredible to be on stage with him because he’s so talented. We really are a team. He’s my best friend, he’s kind, and just a beautiful human being.”
