Your March plans just got funnier: The Gold Coast’s biggest celebration of comedy is back as GC Laughs Festival returns to HOTA from Friday 13 to Sunday 22 March 2026, delivering ten days of bold performances, brilliant comic talent and side-splitting laughs, including the much-anticipated GC Laughs Gala hosted by the hilarious Mel Buttle

From sharp stand-up to outrageous storytelling, the festival delivers a stacked program of Australia’s most in-demand comedians alongside exciting rising stars, guaranteeing big laughs and unforgettable nights out on the Gold Coast.

The 2026 line-up features crowd favourites Lizzy Hoo, Luke Heggie, Sam Taunton, Nick Cody and Dave Thornton, and new shows have been announced with Dusty Rich, Nick Capper and Matt OKine.
