A baby is fighting for life after a car struck a pram and pedestrian on the northern Gold Coast.
Emergency crews were called to River Run Circuit near the intersection of Oakover Avenue in Ormeau Hills around 6pm last night after the pair was hit by a Toyota Corolla.
The infant was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital with critical injuries, while the 60-year-old woman was taken stable.
The driver of the Corolla, a 26-year-old Ormeau Hills woman, remained on scene and is assisting the Forensic Crash Unit with their investigation.
Police are appealing for anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dash cam vision to contact Policelink.
Investigations are ongoing.
