A man has been stabbed following an incident at a unit in Southport.
Police were called to an apartment complex on North St around 1.40am on Tuesday following reports that a man had suffered a wound to his leg.
The 40-year-old was treated on the scene by paramedics before being transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Following investigations, officers attended a second unit complex on Como Crescent in Southport.
A crime scene was declared at that unit.
Investigations into the circumstances of the stabbing are continuing.
No arrests have been made.
