A driver is on the run after crashing a stolen car in Pimpama before the vehicle burst into flames.
Police were called to the intersection of Village Boulevard and Burnett St at around 2.40pm on Wednesday after a Toyota Prado hit a parked car.
The vehicle then continued, hitting a fence before crashing into a garage.
The car then caught fire before it was extinguished by emergency services.
However, the driver had already fled the scene.
Initial investigations indicate the vehicle had been stolen from a carpark in Pimpama shortly before the crash.
Investigations are continuing.
