An elderly woman has died after a car ploughed into a home on the Gold Coast.
The 89-year-old was travelling as a passenger in the vehicle when it crashed into a property on Robert Street in Labrador around 3.40pm on Friday.
She was rushed to hospital in a critical condition, but died a short time later.
The 91-year-old man driving the vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries and was also taken to hospital.
Police are now investigating the circumstances surround the crash and are appealing for anyone with relevant information to come forward.
