Multiple fire crews are battling a massive house fire on the southern Gold Coast this morning.
The blaze erupted inside the two-storey property on Hillcrest Avenue in Tugun just before 4am on Friday, with multiple calls made to triple zero.
Thankfully all residents managed to escape the inferno before the flames took hold.
A man in his 20s was treated at the scene for a foot injury but is in a stable condition.
Neighbouring properties also had to be evacuated, with the flames causing significant damage to at least one house next door.
Half a dozen fire crews remain on scene working to douse the blaze, with paramedics and police also on standby.
It’s not known at this stage exactly what sparked the fire, with investigations ongoing.
