Five masked intruders on the run after frightening Palm Beach break-in

Five people are on the run following a terrifying home invasion in Palm Beach overnight.

The masked bandits stormed a home on Tingira Street around 11.30pm but spooked after being confronted by the 37-year-old male resident inside.

The group then fled the scene in two waiting vehicles, sparking a major manhunt.

“Officers attended the location and conducted extensive patrols however were unable to locate those involved,” Gold Coast Police said.

The offenders remain on the run this morning, with investigations ongoing.

Police say no one was physically injured during the incident.
