The draw for the 2026 Rugby League World Cup has been released, with the Gold Coast to host a massive triple-header during the tournament.

The tournament will descend on CBUS Stadium on Saturday, October 31.

The action will start with the Fiji women’s team taking on France at 12.35pm.

That will be followed by a huge clash between the New Zealand men’s team and Fiji at 2.45pm.

The action will then wrap up with the New Zealand women’s team taking on Papua New Guinea at 4:55 p.m.

“This is another fantastic opportunity to showcase to a global audience our city’s passion for sport, world-class facilities, and our ability to deliver unforgettable event experiences,” Experience Gold Coast CEO John Warn said.

Mayor Tom Tate says he’s thrilled the Gold Coast has been selected as a host city.

“Rugby league is part of the Gold Coast’s DNA, and to see the world’s best players take to the field here is something Gold Coasters will really get behind,” Mayor Tate said.

“With Australia the defending champions in both the men’s and women’s tournaments, we’ll be cheering them on to bring the World Cup home again.”

League bosses have also confirmed the final of the men’s and women’s tournaments will be held at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Sunday, November 15.

Tickets for the group stage matches are on sale now, with tickets starting from just $19.
