A driver is on the run after fleeing the scene of a crash in Burleigh Heads.
Two cars collided at the intersection of Reedy Creek Rd and Kortum Drive at around 6pm on Thursday following a two-car collision.
Both vehicles suffered significant damage in the crash.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, with paramedics assessing the driver and passenger from one of the vehicles.
A woman was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle had left the scene before Police arrived.
Investigations are now underway to track that driver down.
