A horror motorbike crash in Worongary has left a young woman in a potentially life-threatening condition.
Police were called to Nabarlek Drive just before midnight following reports of a serious motorbike crash.
Initial investigations suggest the rider, a 21-year-old woman, hit a road divider before being thrown from her bike.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital with a significant head injury.
