Two men are fighting for life in hospital after a Logan tobacco store was targeted by arsonists in the latest attack across the southeast.
The store on Browns Plains Rd was broken into around 12.30am on Friday and doused in petrol before being set alight.
Two men in their 50s who were inside the store at the time suffered significant burns in the incident.
Both were rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It’s understood the pair was sleeping inside the shop, which was completely destroyed in the blaze.
Neighbouring stores also suffered significant smoke damage.
A crime scene has been established at the store as Police investigate.
Detectives are appealing to anyone with relevant dashcam footage or witnesses to contact them.
