Motorists are being warned of lengthy delays on the M1 this afternoon following a horror crash near the QLD-NSW border.
Three vehicles collided southbound at Bilinga, just south of the Tugun tunnel, around midday on Thursday.
Two people were treated at the scene by paramedics including a man in his 20s with minor injuries and a man in his 40s with a head injury.
Both have been taken to Tweed Valley Hospital for further treatment.
The M1 has been closed south of Stewart Road, with traffic at a standstill in both directions in the area.
Drivers are being urged to delay travel or seek alternative routes.
