A man has been arrested after he was busted scaling a crane in Surfers Paradise.
Emergency crews rushed to Markwell Avenue just before midnight after receiving reports of a man climbing a crane on a building site.
He managed to make it 30 metres up the crane before eventually climbing his way back down.
The man in his 20s was then met by police on the ground before being taken into custody.
He’s now continuing to assist officers with enquiries into the trespass incident.
