A man is due to front Southport Court today charged over an alleged stabbing at a Gold Coast home.
Police were called to Barow Court in Ashmore around 3.30am on Sunday following reports of a fight between two men.
One of the men, aged 26, suffered wounds to his chest, arms and face and was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
While a 26-year-old woman, who tried to break up the scuffle, was taken to hospital in a stable condition after suffering an arm wound.
Their alleged attacker, a 26-year-old man, was taken into custody at a home in Pimpama a short time later.
He has since been charged with one count each of wounding, wounding domestic violence offence, assault occasioning bodily harm, forcible entry domestic violence offence and unlawful stalking.
Police allege the victims and offender are known to each other.
