Man charged with sexual assault of disability workers

A Gold Coast man has been charged with the alleged sexual assault of disability workers.

The 59-year-old Hope Island man was arrested at his home yesterday following an investigation by the detectives from the Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch.

Police will allege the victims were employed as disability support workers for the man between August 2022 and July 2025.

The man has been charged with two counts of rape and four counts of sexual assault.

He is due to front Southport Magistrates Court today.

Detectives are appeal for anyone with any further information to come forward.
