Police are investigating an altercation in Pacific Pines that has left a man in hospital.
Emergency services were called to a chemist on Binstead Way around 9.40am on Monday after the injured man was found lying on the ground outside.
The 44-year-old Coomera man had suffered a wound to his neck.
Paramedics transported the man to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Initial investigations indicate the man was involved in an altercation with two other people at an address on Bounty Avenue around 9.30am where he sustained the wound, before entering a vehicle.
A man and a woman from the Bounty Ave address are assisting Police with inquiries.
Investigations continue.
