A man has been left with life-threatening injuries following an alleged assault in Southport.
Emergency services were called to a property just after 6pm on Thursday night.
A man was found with a serious injury to his arm with paramedics rushing him to the Gold Coast University hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Police have confirmed the incident is being treated a domestic violence matter.
A QPS spokesperson says no complaint has been made but investigations are continuing.
