A man has died in a horror motorbike crash on the M1 overnight.
Police say the grey Yamaha MT-07 motorcycle was travelling north on the Pacific Motorway around 11pm when it collided with a guard rail near the Oxenford Exit.
Despite desperate efforts by emergency crews, the rider, a 23-year-old Varsity Lakes man, died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit has now launched an investigation to piece together the moments leading up to the crash.
They’re appealing for witnesses, or anyone with dashcam, to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
