A motorcyclist has been killed after crashing in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
It’s the third fatal motorbike accident on Hinterland roads in less than a week.
Police say a motorcycle was travelling along Tamborine Mountain Rd in Canungra at around 2pm on Saturday when it left the road and crashed down an embankment.
Emergency services treated the 48-year-old male rider, but he died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the accident.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
