A man has been knocked unconscious after a fight at a popular Surfers Paradise hotel.
Emergency services were called to the Mantra Legends Hotel on Laycock St ar around 7.55pm on Tuesday night.
A 28-year-old Burleigh Heads man was found unconscious.
Police rendered first aid until paramedics arrived before the man was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
A 35-year-old Surfers Paradise man was arrested at the scene.
A crime scene was established, and investigations are continuing.
Charges are yet to be laid.
