A man has been rushed to hospital after being shot in Logan.
Police were patrolling North Rd in Woodridge at around 8pm on Monday when they were approached by a man who told them he had been shot in the leg.
Officers applied first aid before paramedics arrived.
The 30-year-old from Browns Plains was then taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane in a serious but stable condition.
Initial investigations suggest the man was involved in an altercation at a property on North Rd before suffering a gunshot wound.
A crime scene has been declared at the property.
Police believe those involved in the altercation are known to each other and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Investigations are continuing.
