Police have launched a public appeal as they try and identify a man who assaulted a 3-year-old girl at a play centre on the Gold Coast.
The young child was playing on a jumping castle at a play centre in Nerang around 2pm on Sunday, May 19 when an unknown man approached her and shoved her in the chest, causing her to fall backwards onto the ground.
Queensland Police will allege the man was then confronted by a parent and became verbally aggressive before leaving the centre.
The child was later taken to hospital for assessment after complaining of soreness.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 40-years-old, muscular build with a bald head and heavily tattooed arms.
He was accompanied by a young girl at the time of the alleged incident.
Police have released images of a man and are appealing for anyone who recognises him or this vehicle to come forward.
