A truck driver has miraculously escaped injury after his vehicle burst into flames on the Logan Motorway.
The B-double caught fire around 12.30am on Friday in the westbound lanes of the motorway at Tanah Merah.
Almost a dozen firefighters were needed to battle the blaze which was eventually brought under control.
The truck driver was uninjured in the fire.
However, the incident is already causing traffic chaos for motorists.
The westbound lanes of the Logan Motorway remain closed near Drews Rd with delays back onto the M1.
