The search is on for the Gold Coast’s latest millionaire, with one person almost $2 million richer.
A ticket bought at Helensvale has taken out the Jackpot prize in this morning’s Lucky Lotteries draw.
The lucky winner will collect $1.93 million however, the ticket holder wasn’t registered so can’t be contacted.
The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said she hoped the Gold Coast’s latest major prize winner checked their ticket and discovered their newly-minted millionaire status soon.
“Someone is most likely walking around completely oblivious to the fact they scored a Jackpot Prize in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw,” The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said.
“We’re encouraging anybody who purchased a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket from Golden Lucky News to check their ticket as soon as possible because they could be the mystery winner we’re searching for!
“Can you imagine how exciting it would be to discover you were holding a winning ticket worth $1.9 million? You could pack your bags and go on your dream holiday, unlock the door to your forever home, or look to help your nearest and dearest loved ones.”
The winning ticket was bought at Golden Lucky News at Westfield Helensvale.
“We’re so excited to hear the incredible news! We can’t believe we sold a Jackpot Prize winning entry!” owner Melanie Zhi said.
“Over the years we’ve sold a few division one, two, and three winning entries, but this is by far our biggest winning entry to date.”
