A Police officer has been injured after falling several metres while trying to arrest a man in Logan.
Police tried to speak to a 36-year-old man who was walking through a car park off Grand Plaza Drive in Browns Plains around 1pm on Wednesday.
However, the man fled on foot and jumped over a wall before falling several metres to the ground.
A Police officer who was chasing the man on foot also fell.
The male officer was taken to hospital with a shoulder injury.
The 36-year-old man who was being chased was taken to hospital with head injuries.
Investigations into the incident are continuing with the Ethical Standards Command overseeing the probe.
