Police are appealing for public help as they investigate a shocking glassing incident in Bundall earlier this month that left a teen seriously injured.
Officers were called to Bundall Rd around 1am on November 1 following reports of an altercation between two groups of teenagers outside a warehouse.
Investigations indicate an altercation broke out at a private party before a 17-year-old boy was struck on the head with a glass bottle.
The boy was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where he was forced to undergo surgery for lacerations to his ear.
A second 17-year-old boy and two 17-year-old girls suffered minor injuries during the incident.
All offenders had left the scene by the time Police arrived.
Detectives are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has relevant information or footage to contact them.
