Police are hunting a group of thieves following a dramatic late-night break-in at a Logan jewellery store.
Officers say that just before midnight, four unknown males pulled up to a shopping centre loading dock on Browns Plains Road in a red Toyota Corolla before forcing their way in.
Once inside, the thieves allegedly gained entry to the jewellery store before smashing a number of glass cabinets, stealing a large quantity of jewellery.
They then fled the scene in the same getaway car and remain on the run this morning.
Detectives are now calling on the public for help, urging witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV from the area to come forward.
Police say investigations are ongoing as they work to track down the offenders and recover the stolen items.
