Police probe suspicious Gold Coast ute fire

Investigations are underway into a suspicious car fire at Gilston.

A Mazda ute was found engulfed in flames on Latimers Crossing Road around 2.45am on Friday.

Thankfully fire crews were able to put the flames out pretty quickly.

Police have confirmed investigations are now underway to determine whether the vehicle was stolen.

They’re appealing for anyone with information or anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
