Police are appealing for urgent help to find a woman who has been missing from Merrimac for 24 hours now.
Joanne Riddell was last seen at the Ormeau railway station at 9am on Wednesday.
The 50-year-old has not contacted family or friends since, which police say is out of character.
“Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare,” Queensland Police said.
Joanne is described as having a fair complexion, approximately 170cm tall with a heavy build, brown hair and blue eyes.
She was last seen wearing a matching bright coloured blouse and shorts, a white hat and slides.
Police are appealing to Joanne, or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts, to contact Policelink.
