A teenage girl has been charged after a delivery driver was allegedly robbed of his car at knifepoint.

A 25-year-old male was making a food delivery to an address on Rodriguez Court in Parkwood around 1.30am on Thursday after parking his car at the bottom of a steep driveway.

As the man approached the front door, he spotted two people jump in his vehicle and drive off towards Alcott Court.

The man ran after his vehicle and tried to remove the keys from the ignition before the pair allegedly threatened him with a knife.

The delivery driver was not injured.

Following investigations, Police executed a search warrant at a property in Gilston later on Thursday, arresting a 15-year-old girl.

Police will allege the girl organised the robbery by ordering the food delivery.
