A teenage boy is fighting for life after being stabbed at a home in Molendinar, with an attempted murder investigation now underway.
Emergency crews were called to an address on Batchworth Road around 7.30pm on Thursday following reports a 17-year-old boy had been stabbed in the chest.
Upon arrival, he was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
His two alleged attackers fled the scene in a white Mercedes-Benz dual cab ute before police arrived and remain on the run this morning.
Two crime scenes have since been declared as investigations continue.
Detectives are now appealing for anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam vision from the area at the time to come forward.
