Three teenagers have been charged following a wild crime spree on the Gold Coast.

Police were conducting patrols in Bundall last Friday as part of ongoing investigations into high-harm vehicle thefts and burglaries when they intercepted a black BMW that had been stolen from a home in Broadbeach Waters.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested at the scene, while two 18-year-old boys ran off.

Around an hour later, police were called to Boomerang Crescent following reports two males had entered a home but fled after being confronted by the occupant.

The same boys are alleged to have entered another nearby property on Platypus Avenue where they were sniffed out by the dog squad and arrested.

“Police will allege all three offenders were wanted in relation to a number of outstanding property offences”.
