A Gold Coast woman is more than $1 million richer after a huge win on Keno.
The Broadbeach woman was out to lunch with her husband at Kurrawa Surf Club on Friday when she bought a ticket in the Keno Classic 10 Spot jackpot draw.
The move paid off big time when her numbers came out, with the woman pocketing a cool $1,179,970.50.
The woman told Keno officials it was an amazing feeling.
“We were out for a late lunch, and we decided to put on a game of Keno.
“My husband and I are in so much shock! We can’t believe it,” she said.
“We actually left straight after that. We went back home to ponder about the win.”
The woman says she plans to use some of the winnings to attend one of the world’s best sporting events.
“We’re looking forward to travelling more, especially overseas. We’re sporty people so would love to go to Wimbledon and watch the tennis!
It’s the second major Keno win on the Gold Coast in the last two weeks.
