Police are investigating after a woman was hit by a car in Southport.
Emergency crews were called to Lawson Street around 4pm on Sunday following reports a woman had been struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, they found the woman suffering significant head, chest and leg injuries.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are now underway.
