A driver remains on the run following a hit and run crash in Upper Coomera.
Emergency crews were called to Elk Street just after 11.15am on Monday following reports a vehicle had collided with a pedestrian.
Upon arrival, they found a man suffering serious leg injuries.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
“The driver of the vehicle failed to remain at the scene and render assistance, continuing onto Caribour Crescent,” Queensland Police said.
Detectives are now appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision of the car leading up to and after the traffic crash to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
